Commissioned to create series of images inspired by Rogue One - A Star Wars Story, using official props from the movie and shot in locations around London.
In the planning stages of this project I consulted with the film's cinematographer, Greig Fraser, who discussed making locations feel real by using real-world locations – one of which was London’s own Canary Wharf tube station.
Rogue One launch party at the Tate Modern.
The concept behind this shoot was to get the cast to hold there figurines to make for a more interesting portrait. Some loved the idea others were forbidden by their agents (Felicity Jones) and some sadly didn't have a figurine.
All in all a very special evening, especially as I was given access all areas to create this very exclusive series.
You can catch some additional BTS shots from the evening on my blog here: mrwhisperstudios.com/blog/212017

It is man meets machine, as we are turning London into a virtual hideout. This photo series portrays a near future in which Londoners are withdrawn from reality as a result of their preoccupation with VR headsets. In short we call this modern day phenomenon 'AFR'.
I worked together with creative dream team duo 'In Return' who came up with this cool futuristic concept.
